About this Course
This training focuses on the practical application of AI in your daily GIS work.
The exercises in the course are based on familiar real-world scenarios and provide you with the essential experience needed to confidently use AI assistants in your daily work.
Upon completion, you will be able to deploy AI capabilities in a targeted and responsible manner within your own processes.

Esri will provide the following software to use during class:
- ArcGIS Online
- ArcGIS Pro
Goals
- Gain insight into the difference between AI tools, assistants, and agents, and the importance of human validation.
- Use AI strategically to perform your daily GIS work more efficiently and quickly.
- Use AI to create metadata.
- Formulate effective prompts for various tasks within ArcGIS, with practical examples in ArcGIS Survey123, Story Maps, and ArcGIS Pro.
Suggested Skills
Knowledge of GIS concepts and experience with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro are preferred.
