What type of projects do our GIS Engineers work on?

As a GIS Engineer, I provide specialised geospatial analysis, data management services and advanced mapping capabilities to support EU cohesion policy. My work involves producing detailed thematic maps (distribution of European funds, GDP, transport, environment). I develop territorial typologies and socio-economic indicators using sophisticated spatial analyses that reveal territorial patterns and typologies, transport performance and environmental impacts in various European regions. I manage and develop geospatial datasets by integrating various sources, including Eurostat, the EEA, TomTom and national agencies. Using Python and ArcGIS, I automate workflows for map production and spatial analysis, and provide clear and actionable insights, helping the client to make informed decisions and communicate effectively on policy impacts.
